After my wife left me and my two girl 4 & 6, I fell behind on my mortgage payments. Following the advice of many news stories, I worked with my lender Bank of America to get a mortgage modification. I was told that during this procedure they would suspend efforts to foreclose on my home while we worked out a new payment plan. Everything I thought was going smooth until I came home one day to find a notice that my home was sold, I called Bank of America and to my horror that was correct, they saw my documents were in the system and that it just takes some time and they agreed that the sale is always postponed in these cases and they don't know what happened. They gave me number after number and I talked for 7 hours with all of them. Since the house never really sold, Fannie Mae just holds the title, I was told they could simply resind the sale and foreclosure and let me continue to work out the deal to stay in my family home. I need your help to get this done, please help.
