I worked for Binder and Binder.
I had answered an emloyment advertisement for a "Writer", with numerous amenities. However, upon my hiring in Hauppauge, NY, I was told, verbatim: "You cannot be a writer; we are looking for Journalism Majors."
I thought that that was somewhat odd as I am a Certified Paralegal with experience in legal writing. I accepted a position as a person in the Hearing Department. I was trained by an utmost professional and I wish him the best of luck in his endeavors.
The point of this dialogue is to enlighten those who are in the unfortunate position to choose Binder and Binder for assistance: think twice. I had a caseload of 164 and it is somewhat difficult to carry that load when you sincerely care and want to help.
I am not "disgruntled employee". I am an educated, grounded, inividual and could not lie to the "clients".
