I took my car a 2008 Mitsubishi Gallant into Midas 8530 Michigan Road Indianapolis, IN 46268 on a Saturday April 17, 2010 because I noticed a slight shaking when I pressed my brakes. When I arrived to Midas I was told that it would be an hour and a half to two hour wait. After about 3 hours nothing had been done to my vehicle. The manager finally came out and called me into the shop and advised that I needed brake pads, rotors, a right tie rode, and tires. I told the manager I would have the tie rod fixed and have the other work completed later. The manager then advised if you get the tie rod fixed it would have to be aligned. I agreed. I was then told it would be about an hour. I waited and then I was advised we ordered the wrong part and the new one has to come from Brownsburg and it won’t be here until three. I finally got a ride and left the shop. Around 4:15pm I received a call that my car was fixed and that I could pick the vehicle up. After picking up the vehicle and paying 330.00 my steering wheel was crooked and the car was not driving straight. I called the shop and advised and they stated because of my tires the alignment could not be properly done but would redo it. After putting my car back up on the rack the manager then mentioned you have a bad left tie rod now. I stated the car was just here a week ago and you fixed the right one why was this not found before? The manager stated my techs are human and so am I and we make mistakes. I also questioned why the alignment was not mentioned to me when I picked the car up. I then took my car to Discount Tire and purchased new tires. After purchasing the new tires the steering wheel was still off centered and the car was driving crooked. I then took my car to Indy Tire to have it checked out. Indy tire inspected my vehicle and advised me that no alignment had been done to my vehicle and they gave me the printouts of the before and after shots and numbers that they had taken with the camera for the alignment. Indy tire fixed my left tie rod and my alignment for $100 less than Midas. I contacted the district manager for Midas about the alignment and how the problems on my vehicle were not all addressed to me after sitting there for 8 hours. The district manager was very rude and stated well what do you want me to do about it. Finally they stated that they would refund me for the alignment, however, I am still waiting on that refund. I am very displeased with the service and the job that was done at Midas and I will not ever go back to Midas for any work or recommend anyone. This was one of the worst experiences that I have ever had.

CALL THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND REPORT THE ISSUE
ONCE THEY ARE REPORTED AND AN INVESTIGATION IS PREFORMED. THEY WILL JUMP AT THE CHANCE TO GET YOU YOUR REFUND. OR CONTRACT YOUR LOCAL NEWS STATIONS TO SEE IF THEY WILL RUN A FRAUD REPORT ON THEM ON CAMERA AND BELIEVEME IT WORKED FOR ME. JUST BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT I WAS A GIRL THAT I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY VEHICLE. MY PROBLEM WAS WITH MIDAS IN TALLAHASSEE FL. IT GOT ME MY MONEY BACK QUICK FAST AND IN A HURRY.
