AT&T advertised internet lite services for $14.95 per month. I signed up and asked if this would be $14.95 as advertised and was told my monthly billing would be $14.95. The first months bill came and it wae $26.95. I called AT&T and was assured it was a mistake and a credit for $12.95 would be deducted from my account. The following month I was billed $24.95 for my service. I called and was told several different things. I talked to a misses Bush who told me even if I had seen it on TV the service was $19.95 because I had the 6.0. I told her when I signed up IO was told it would be billed at $14,95 as seen on TV. Then she said because I did not have phone service with them it had to be $19.95 again I told her the add on TV said you did not have to have AT&T phone service to get the inernet at $14.95.She then proceeded to tell me that it was the date I signed up as the reason it was billed at $19.95. I ask to speak to her supervisor because she was an Idiot! A misses Ross came on the line and said let me help you. I said thanks and she said your service is $19.95. I went through the same routine as I did with Bush and was finally told that maybe the people who signed me up were no longer there and the service requirement had changed to a higher amount and that is what I am going to be charged. I said I was not notified of any change to the amount and she stated I did not have to be notified! I told her that you certainly could tell that you (Ross) and Bush were trained the same. This company is a bunch of Crooks! I was even billed more than the new charge of $19,95 I was billed $24.95.
