We have a resident council that was set up last September. We haven,t had any meetings.I am the treasurer of the tenant association, I have never received a bank statement of any kind. Neither have the financial secretary. But when ask to let us see the books we cant. How do the recording secretary sign off on 68,000.00 Dollars and the rest of the board aren't aware of it? I know that they cant get any funds without the council being in place. But I see this as a way for the employees of hud to use us to get funds for their own selfish gain. Miss grate has a catering business an my understanding is that has co- mingled her catering business with hud resident council business and that the funds to run her business comes out of tenant funding. That is what we can't see any books or have any meetings.
Also, our election was fixed, we complained but we couldn't do anything about it, it was fixed by the employees of the executive branch an their henchmen so that they could do what they wanted.
