Toll Booth I-355 Spring Creek Mainline 99 booth late in the evening of the 12th of November 2011. Toll at that booth is $2.00
I found the unattended I-355 Spring Creek Mainline 99 booth late in the evening of the 12th of November 2011 unacceptable and rude. If you are not going to man the booth then don't demand payment. At the very least lower the payment, since you are not paying to have an attendant in the booth. If I didn’t have a computer I would need to pay an additional 44 cents in postage + the cost of the envelope and the time to run to the post office. All you have accomplished by your actions is to brand Illinois an unfriendly state. Your arrogance is unbelievable and I will make a point of using the Illinois Tollway system as little as possible. Shame on you! By the way, it took ten minutes of my time this morning to fill out the payment form. For ten minutes of my you owe me $2.25 or the difference of $0.25 in my favor. You may mail it to my home address within 7 days.
