Mail Order Puppy Purchased. After Two Months Waiting, Still Not Delivered - Mail Order Puppies

I ordered a puppy online through Arizonapups.com on July 7th, 2007. I was told by them via email that the weather was too hot to ship the animal and as soon as the weather permitted, I would be receiving the flight information for pick up.
When the weather turned cooler I asked if the time was right for shipping. I was then told that there would be another delay with no explanation. I waited for 2 weeks and started to email more aggressively. Eventually I was told that our puppy had a heart condition and could not be ours. I felt they knew this all along but did not tell us. They offered us the puppy of our choosing in replacement.
I picked another puppy whose information on the site read "ready to ship". After a week passed without receiving a scheduled delivery time, I emailed them. I was told the puppy was too immature to ship. More time passed, more emails were sent. I never got an answer as to what the delay was.
I then complained to the attorney generals office in Arizona and the company was contacted. The company responded by refunding my charge (which I neither wanted nor asked for). They also told me they would still ship the pup free of charge to make up for all the hassles.
It has been over two months since I placed the order and they still will not schedule a delivery. They now refuse to answer emails. I have copies of every email sent to and received from them. They promised in writing that this dog would be mine. It appears now that they want nothing to do with me.

Don't waste your time with adopting over the internet. Go to your local shelter instead. Usually much cheaper and you can walk out with a puppy or dog of your choice!

as a breeder that use to work with this ripoff company, please do yourself a favor and look for a puppy from another source. sadly this "ethical breeder co-op" are not ethical, total cons and should of been put out of buisness long ago. myself and three other breeders will have are day in court with them... i will post the results soon. i wish i could comment more right now

It is SAD...I have a story to tell that lasted a year, Bill Knell and Catherine Knell are RIP OFF
ARTIST..they ripped me off twice...I am sorry I did not read up on them before I purchased, I have written to all the above websites, contacted the Maricopa County Attorney,made a report, I have not rec'd my money yet.
The above story is EXACTLY what I experienced,
I purchased my puppy on 12/19/06 , after a zillion excuses about the weather being too hot,
or the power being out,flights being delayed,they are professional crooks..I did on 1/21/07 receive my puppy,I was a Lucky Person it was the one I picked, It did take a mth to get her she was now 4mths old..they offered me free shipping if I purchased another..with 10% discount , BAIT...I took the bait and purchased another one to keep mine company..they are just so sweet and adorable..
They said pay money grahm you get a discount 20%
plus my other discount that was alot..so I mailed a money order for 900.00. that was the last of my money, I never received a puppy., first the weather was hot, then the breeder was not home, then he was on vacation, then the puppy got dirt in her eye, then 4mths later, Bill Knell says just pick out another one..so I did, Excuses started again..for another four mths
over and over I was so sick of reading his lies,
how can he get away with this ? I named the puppy
Romeo..was so excited to receive it..NEVER DID..
so, 8mths now..I start asking for my money refunded..he says he doesn't have it ????? I sent it to him he signed for it I Have Proof..so then he says the breeder has it , and he can not get it ?? don't you get a puppy when you pay someone?? So another month goes by, he says he mailed it finally...no..now he says oh it must have got lost in the mail..I will re send, he did
after 3 tries, finally , he sent a check to me
UPS, it took 7 days, a BAD CHECK, it was returned from the bank NSF.
900.00 I have not received it to this DAY.
Why is the STATE of ARIZONA allowing this man to conduct bussiness ??????
He is ripping innocent people off DAILY on his
website..THIS IS A CRIME...

Why isn't someone stopping William and Catherine Knell.
My puppy was suppose to be 4lbs. she cost 1750.00
she is 7lbs. and has an overbite so her tongue
sticks out.
This guy advertises he is ETHICAL ?????????????

mind. People need to be aware this guy is a crook
he has alot of complaints against him just google

This exact same story happened to my daughter, and grandchildren as recent as March 3rd, 2008. I believe all the stories, for we have heard all of them. On google and comcast, there are many of these complaints. I believe my daughter is again supposed to receive a puppy that was paid for and never delivered on a flight tommorrow at 1:30 PM from Indiana, where Bill Knell and his wife Catherine are now operating under Dogs for Fun and Puppy find. What a terrible nightmare, and the children can't believe someone could be so cruel. Thank you.

Please see my story about these same embezzlers.
I also have a similar story and was given the run around, weather, maturity, and no excuse. Also see Pisses off consumer and all the complaints regarding the same people, who have operated under about 2 dozen websites, mostly under the name of Bill Knell...
