Well, let me say this in 2010, I started my journey with PSE&G and the Board of Public of Public Utilities!!! YEAH YOU READ THAT CORRECTLY.
Briefly:
I was advised by PSE&G that I hadn't made a payment since the end of 2009 (yup you read that correctly)
I was accused of STEALING ELECTRIC, and yes those words were used, yes I have witness statements!
PSE&G in essence placed my payments WHO THE FREAK KNOWS! I contacted The Board Of Public Utilities, in 2010, opened up my investigation, what is the current year? It would be 2012 am I correct, MY ISSUE IS STILL NOT RESOLVED!!!!!
When I contact the BPU, I have been accused of not making payments, then I had to send every bank statement for 2010. A lot of people don't realize that when you pay by check, PSE&G turns your payment into a electronic payment and does not send your cancelled check back to your bank, so it will show up on your bank statement as a payment made to PSE&G, with the check number and the amount.
When I advised the BPU of this, they were unaware that this transpired.
I have had my services shut off during the month of Dec, which is NOT ALLOWED, yet it was done! Not because I didn't pay my bill, because they are still showing a OUTSTANDING BALANCE that is INCORRECT ON MY BILL.
I was FORCED TO PAY $700, not because it was owed, my power was shut off, and this was prior to me going to the bank to retrieve my bank statements, showing PROOF that I paid my bill.
I'M TIRED, I'M ANNOYED, I'M PISSED OFF. I could go on and on, but it's to much to get into via email.
I will say this, there are NUMBEROUS COMPLAINTS against PSE&G, for EXACTLY what has happened to me, I'm not the only one!
Yet NO ONE HOLDS PSE&G ACCOUNTABLE for their actions!!!
