I went to buy a replacement battery for this - out of warranty - which has the Arabic language installed in it and the Arabic letters printed on the keys - power book apple PC and there was nothing wrong with it except the battery that was not holding the charge, so, I paid cash for it, $140.00 after taxes, for some reason the staff there did not like me very much, they had me waiting for almost an hour just to pay for the battery with the excuse that there was olny one cash register that's accepting cash, while the lady on the counter was doing something to my computer, then finally when the person on the cash register, she sent me to, finished helping the people in front of me, he wanted to leave without helping me, while other cash registers were opened and were accepting cash, they even called the people who were behind me on the line to help them.
Anyway, I finally paid for the battery and left, the second day the wireless card inside the computer failed, so I took it back to them, and they did some stuff to it then they advised me to buy an external card from an other store which is cheaper, so, I did, and the next day even before I get to install it in the computer, the screen went black, so I went back to them, they said that it is something wrong with the logic card, and the cheapest way to fix it is to sen it outside to a third party.... and that it is going to coast about $310.00 to fix.
They made me sign a paper ( that was on 10/7/08 ) in which I noticed that they had my phone # wrong, so I tried several times to get them to change it by phone, but I couldn't, so I had to go there in person on 10/11/08 and the represent. associate checked the state of the repair on their computer and found out that the repair -according to the computer - is already done and it is in its way back to the store.
When I asked them when I should be able to get my PC back they said it is going to take from 7 to 10 days to get it back !!
I smell a lot of bacala here !! don't you?
I think they are trying to - after moging me in about $500.00 - to month me of the computer itself, and I think that they are doing this because they found out that I'm from an Arabic origin, I have soooo many stories to tell about being abused because of this since 9 -11 , starting from getting fired from my jobs, having my working van and my motorcycle towed and taken away from me, getting sued by my landlord and having to loose 3 days work to go to court beside the emotional pressure to prove that I sent the money orders ( registered mail ) and the bank signed for receiving them but still I had to go to court, and a lot of other stuff that I am ashamed to mention here, from spitting on at work, treating me as an illiterate person and accusing me of having a communication problem with the other co-workers, I have bachelor degree in accounting, and I am picking orders with the power jack for ( now ) the rite aid warehouse in Bohemia, so, if you need any other info please feel free to say so through my e-mail.
