Another Scam by Progressive Mover - Moving

I just happened on your site this evening. I was so sorry to come across another Scam Story about Progressive Movers. This complaint was dated May, 2010. I was Scammed just like victor. nj. I actually could have written his story myself. Progressive Movers use the same scam time and time again. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and the Attorney General's office. Progressive has 39 complaint with the BBB, in addition to several complaints on other scam websites. All with the same story.

All of us can't be lying, we all have the exact same story. This Company needs their license revoked NOW! Perhaps with your help, I can bring attention to this matter sooner then I would on my own.

I too was ripp off by PMI Movers. Never heard of ABC Packing Supplies Inc. until they hit me wtih the bill and threatened not put my things in storage. A move that should have cost me $350.00 costed me over $1,586.00. They wanted to charge me over $2063.00

PMI Movers were very thorough over the phone and in the estimate that they expected me to be packed. So I did what they told me and received a $210.00 bill at the end of the day. I bought pizza and gave the guys a $30 dollar tip each.

I've used a company that did the packing and moving service together it ran me over $1000 for the same move. PMI movers is by far the cheapest alternative to executing a move.

These guys are scam artists. They will quote a low figure to hook you in and the final bill will be HUGE! They give the final bill after they arrive at your new location with all your stuff inside their truck. They will not unload unless you pay the amount in cash!

Their packaging charges are outrageuos, they charge hundreds of $$$ extra for each flight of steps and 'long' walks also. The cost of packaging a TV is almost as much as the cost of a new TV. DO not fall for the scam artists Greg and Sam. Find somebody else who is honest.
