Heat Surge Complaint

I bought this fireplace as I thought it would be an added feature to my home and help cut down on fuel enegery. Was very satisfied and I took out a 3 year warranty to be on the safe side. After 1 year I was having trouble. Notified them and they sent another insert. Had this installed and after 2 days this one is not working properly. What is the story with Heat Surge??? Do I have to keep sending this back for the next 3 years of my warranty or is someone going to check to see what is going on.
