I had contacted them to check my salt system on my pool back in 2008. They said that I needed a new salt cell. I paid them over $800.00 to replace. Since then I have been battling the algae in my pool, spending a lot of money for chemicals which was not supposed to happen. I finally got fed up and called them again to come out and check then they said I needed a new sensor at another $450.00. Needless to say between the 2 amounts I could have bought an entire new system. I stopped and called the manufacturer of the Jandy products myself and learn a lot about my system. In a nutshell they undersized the cell they replaced by half. They installed a 700 and should have installed a 1400. Manufacturer said they should replace for free. They would not and wanted to charge me 900.00 to put in the new correct one because they could not resell it. it was used now. They said they were giving me a discount at that price. Again, I could have now almost bought 2 systems for what I would have paid. The technician Luis I believe works off commissions so looks for uneducated consumers to prey on and Bill the Manager is working with him. They have no intention of making good on anything unless I pay. I have sense had to go by the correct unit myself at $500.00 and install myself, but I want my $800.00 back. I would never trust that company again and everyone should be very careful if you do use them or don't use them at all.
