Alaska Airlines Complaint

Flying into the poor house

- Spokane Washington
I had bought an airline ticket through Alaska Airlines. Due to a death in the family I canceled the flight. When I request a refund the airline said my ticket was non-refundable but that I would have a credit of $662. Later I learn that no I did not have a credit but one plane ticket worth up to $662. If I chose a flight worth less, then too bad! I was out the extra money and they just got a hell of a tip. I know they were very deceptive in their conversation with me about a credit. Plus they charge a $50 fee to change the ticket, regardless of the ticket price that I repurchase. More money in their pockets!
