I have a long story about fighting to get a new home fixed by a builder, a home under warranty, purchased by 2 disabled seniors, one with a sight problem, one on oxygen, one fighting cancer-hemochromatosis, iron overload, fybromyalgia, hearing loss, steel knees, sleep disorders, both past "life protecters" BS degrees, captain in fire dept, 24 year airline employee, 12 years of youth ministry, former public and private school teacher, motivational speaker, pet sitters international, former Hospice of W_S spiritual care volunteer, patient family volunteer, member of Hospice Speakers Bureau, Cancer Services Volunteer, Volunteer for Pink Broomsticks, a mentor, grief counceler.....so much more. My husband walked out on me when I was bed ridden about 4 years ago. He took my house that my now deceased parents hhad purchased the land for me. I had no money for a lawyer. I lost all my savings...While still in the house trying to repair ALONE_ONE 5ft 2in sick woman stripped off rooms of wallpaper, retiled, replaced carpet with hardwood...spent all savings left....deserted starving...beat up...broken in on.....eventually had to give house to husband because extra mortgages put on house without my prior knowledge...................more.....Gave house back to husband on "promised land" my parents bought for their daughter....bottom level became a world recognized youth puppet ministry 12 years...totally destroyed by ex husbands neglect....only to get a fractional reimbursement from insurance co......Husband took money from settlement and left me with nothing----He HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH MY MINISTRY WORK...............ended up moving to GSO-had to make a quick decission....found a house (new) built by Alaris (alias Old South Homes) New with warranties and promises NEVER KEPT! Wired wrong ---complained--no answer back--called again and again--0only be told eroneous information about who actually wired house. Spent almost 2 years with Oxygen machine going off in middle of night, promised vynel floors before closins (allergic to carpeting) only to find all carpeting...told they would replace later...NEVER DONE! SPENT 1000S ON REPAIRS, REPLACED FLOORING 2 TIMES. PUT IN CROWN MOLDING, CHAIR AIL, HARDWOOD...MORE...DISCOVERED A HUGE CRACK IN FOUNDATION CALLED FOR OVER 1 YEAR--GIVEN "RUN AROUND INFORMATION"...NO ONE CAME...FINAL WARRENTY ALMOST UP AND 2 DISABLED PEOPLE BROKE, SICK, UNSAFE AND FACING MARTALITY...WE NEED SOMEONE TO LISTEN TO OUR STORY IN PERSON AND SEE THE DAMAGE-----TIRED OF PHONE CALLS LEADING NOWHERE AND 20 BROKEN PROMISES...
