I paid for air to Hawaii for my son/wife/2 girls. They arrived at airport 5:30 am for 6:30 flight. Were told flight was moved to 6 am and was too late - did not even try to accommodate. told them to get in missed flight line with about 50 others. They said next flight was next day. My son found flight on Hawaiian. Told United. They said they would cancel entire flight that day & credit my card. They rebooked on Hawaiian. United never gave us credit. My son has tried to work with them. I emailed. no response.
We would not have booked Hawaiian without assurance that we would get credit for united flight. I teach 1st grade in Concord. I can not afford $2,600 for flights never taken.
