I ordered air duct cleaning from Sears, whom I considered a very reputable company to service my furnace since I was having breathing issues. I ended up in the hospital very ill for 7 days and my friend came to allow the work to be done. Sears out sourced the job and they were anything but professional. They neglected to cover the cold air returns and all the soot and grime in the furnace came all thru the house. Mu friend took pictures of the damage because the company said they were not responsible to clean it up. after fighting with sears and the company my friend against my wishes cleaned the whole house because I could not come home to this pollution with my breathing problems. It has been a nighmare and I feel that when I went with SEARS they should have stood behind the company they endorse since it is their reputation. I could not believe their lack of interest. I feel the public needs to be made aware of this lack of responsibility. I also feel my friend should be compensated for all her hard work.
