On Thursday Februar 10,2011 I received my monthly bill from KuA- kissimmee utility authority for the sum of $82..25plus with an increse charge of $447.82 which was incorrect.
On February 12,2011 I called customer service to inquire about the abvious mistake and was informed by customer service that the reason for such increase in looking over my records could not find where I had paid a deposit and aletter was sent to me informing me. I never received such letter. moreover, in order for me to move into my home I hads to pay a deposit befor I moved in. I have been leaving in my home for the past 14 years, not a month ago. I sent a letter to KUA asking for this to removed from my account but today I received a letter for disconnetion 2/26,2011.
what I do not understand the previous month my bill was $96.92 I paid $75.00 owing a balance of $21.92. my current bill is 82.25 on February 18,2011 I paid KUA $103. to my knowledge I do not owe them this amount. In these enomictimes why is KUA doing this to me. I have paid my bills, I bet if that had competion that won't happen to people like me. I guess they don't care I have an elderly person in the home, they don't care I do not owe this money just pay up and shup up. I hope ther is someone out there who could help. I do not have the mpney to pay for something I do not owe. guess on Saturday I will have no water, no phone/ electricity, please, please help me.
