we were called to come and get the baby now the mother couldn't handle him. so we did.then she wanted $5000. for medical expense our lawyer said this was ok. We were and still are in process of adopting a child from china. So we had all the paper work done.After 29 day she took the baby back and sent him to California for $25,000. Is it legal to except money from to parent that are adopting. She made $30,000 + off her son.
She has devastated me and my husband . this cant be fair or legal. we are still adopting from china and feel it is safer. I work with her sister she called me.to see if I was still looking to adopt. Now i cry everyday for my son. I should of never answered her call, but I was so desperate to have a child. I was off work for 5 week with out pay, gave her $5,000. So we lost $10,000, but thats not what really matters.Having to give my son back has broken my heart. I will never be the same I also found the worst adoption lawyer in the state of New York.
