I a female went to R and B Towing to purchase a pair of tires for my vehicle. I was told that I needed a alignment on the vehicle or the tread would wear faster on the tire. I had already recently bought two new tires from a local tire company. I was told that the tire was cheap looking and that the front end had cause the tires tread to wear. Not knowing tires are specialize for different reasons. You can purchase Rain tires, All weather tire, or low tread or high tread.
To make a long story short I was told I had to have a Front End Alignment. I gave the okay. Thirty minutes later I was told I could not have a front end alignment. Because I had to rebuild the entire Front end. I was told I needed new ball joints, and align arms lower and upper parts etc. I was told by Brenda HoneyCutt the estimate cost would be 280 dollars. After she had just call the part store and got a price quote and a check to see were the items in stock. I decided not to get the work done that day. Because I was unsure the parts needed replacing or I was gonna be taken advantage of. When I left I notice my car driving really bad. I call RandB Towing to see why was my car driving so bad. I wanted to know had my tires been balance. Why was it driving bad. I was told until you get that front end fix your car is gonna drive badly. Me as a concern customer and caring mother who travels a hour and a half just to go to the doctor. I wanted my vehicle fix and fix the proper way. The following Monday I went their to get all the parts name that I had to replace. I went to a local part store and bought the parts. I waited while the work was being done. Something told me to ask what would the cost of repair be? I was told 4hundreth and some odd dollars amount. Then I was told 3hundreth and some odd dollars amount. Finally Brenda Honeycutt told me well all I can reduce it to is 280.00 And I told her I thought that was including the parts and labor. She assured me no this is just labor. This do not cover your front end alignment which is 69.00. At this point I ask how do you establish credit with this company. She ask me where do you work I told her I was disable. She then replied you can attain credit with this company. You can pay me next month for a alignment. At this point I was feeling a little relax. Brenda Honeycutt then start taking about her hardships. How she had not received her income tax and how a lot of customers had owed her and had not paid. So once again I thought am I the sucker she is looking for to satisfy her financial needs. She told me It will be a while before your vehicle is ready would you care to join me for lunch. The lunch will be on me. By then the mechanic came out of the shop and ask did I have another part. And suggested I by another part because I had forgotten to buy it. So I did. Brenda Honeycutt suggested I have lunch at the local subway with her and that she would drop me off until my vehicle was fix. We had lunch at Subway and the judge was present. Brenda began to brag on how she did plumbing work and had did work for a lady and after the work was completed the lady refuse to pay the price that was quoted to her. And how she went to court and that she won the case. Later that day Brenda pick me up. My car drove so bad that I wresstled to hold it in the road. By then the shop was close. I got up early that morning and told Rickie Honeycutt how dangerous it was to drive my car how. He told me bring it here and I will look at it. I would have to leave it all day and it would be 12:00 before he got to it. At this time I start hearing that is the worse place to take your car I would not take my dog there. I went to drop my car off. I personally spoke with Ricky Honeycutt. And I ask him would you please correct whatever is wrong with my car. I am receiving fax about how this is the worse company in town. He assured me he would do his best. I told him I appreciate it because I have been a customer for a while and I had never before encounter a problem. Later that day I pick up my car. My car was still driving badly. At this point I wanted another opinion. I was told about Northside Lube Express. I ask the manager did they specialize in alignments and front end parts. He suggested I contact George Berry from Hamilton, MS who had work with Ford Company for over 40 years. George test drove my vehicle. And he replied this car is not right. I do not have to drive it far to know it is not right. I told him what had went down. He told me he knew those people there. And sometimes they send him vehicles that they cannot fix. And that they were under his belt buckle. That he would have to put the car on the machine and give it a alignment to find out exactly what is going on. And that it would be over 100.00 to do that. I then said RandB should pay you whatever your exspenses should be. I told him I am wanting to pursue this in court because all I wanted was my vehicle fix and fix right. He inform me that he would give R and B a call. He did and he told me to please give them a chance to fix the problem. I call RandB Towing and Ricki told me George gave him instructions over the phone on how to fix the problem. And that he had the ball joint on the wrong way. That I would have to bring the vehicle back. I told him I will get me a rent a car so you will have enough time to have my car fix and have it fix right. The rental car was 280.00. And I took the car to be fix. The car was still was not fix correctly. At this point my husband and I went to the company. And my husband ask why did you all trick my wife like she needed her entire front end fix when all she wanted was to buy some tires from you all? Brenda Honeycutt got real nasty and said I drove your wife all over town and this is the best company. And if this is about a front end alignment you all can keep that. My husband replied I will give you 5.00 for a subway if that's what you want. And she said no. And I told her this is not about money for a front end. My car is not fix right she replied Just Leave! When we left R and B Towing Brenda Honeycutt came outside laughing at us and saying Yall have a nice Day. We went to the police. They advise us to go small claims court because it was a civil matter. So we went there. The receptionist acted like they were affiliated with R and B Towing. We left because they had all types of information that we did not have present. By me being a peace maker I have been trying to fix my car without all this drama. I recently had alignment done at Kings Auto and they inform be the stear box was mess up. My vehicle drive so bad now I'm afraid a part might come off and cause death.
