Contracted with A Eastern Connection, Inc. of Bayville, NY to transport my car to South Florida with payment of $730, one way, made in full. Car was to be picked up on 12/8/07 & was not picked up until 12/11/07 with no explanation as to why they were late.
Car was to be delivered on 12/16/07 in Orlando. No one answered calls nor did anyone try to contact us regarding delivery of our car. On 12/17, received call from McGrady Trucking & Transport, of Fayetteville, NC, informing us that our car, along with others, was in North Carolina.
The cars were not going to be delivered to their final destinations unless A Eastern Connection paid up back monies owed to this sub-contractor, McGrady. There is no resolution at this time and all of our possessions are in the car -- clothes, gifts etc. We are stranded and have no idea when we will see our car or its contents.
