I have a problem and I am not the only consumer whom is feeling "Ripped Off", I owe like $27,00.00 on my 2008 FJ Cruiser which I had purchased at Daily City Toyota located in Daily City. I purchased my FJ a little over a year ago and been pretty much happy with my decision since its my second Toyota purchase. Recently, I have noticed bubbling on my Alloy wheels.
I had my father call them for me to make a complaint and wanted to make an appointment for me so they could take a look at them after I had service done to my vehicle.
I took my FJ in for service the following day and all they said was it was caused from the Salty air and corrasion from the salty air. That I should rinse my car off every 3 days or so.
I have previously had this conversation earlier on another issue and that was their "Correction" to the problem. "Just rinse your car every other day or so, to prevent salt build-up".
I have looked on line under, "Toyota Alloy Wheel bubbling complaints and their are Several upon Several complaints about this bubbling issue. Also, some people don't even live near the OCEAN. So it too me is not a Salt problem living near the coast.
They refuse to acknowledge and or do anything about this. Please help, I can't afford new wheels and I certantly feel ripped off knowing this FJ is still years away from being paid off....
Sincerely your fan
Monica Rudio
