We have had the opposite experience. We bought a chair from them for my mom which was a large lift chair. They had it for a long time as someone ordered and didn't buy; we were so delighted to get it - we got a good price - and they seemed great. Now we know why the price was so great. Less that TWO months later the motor went out. In the second week of August 2011 I called & spoke to Philip Russell (VP) he was very nice. They let me know they would fix it: I said let me know how much. After a week (and we understand busy, but you'll see a pattern), they sent someone out to look at it - we were gracious and grateful in all interactions but they had to order a part. 2 weeks later I called, they had received the wrong part. I called a week later because nothing happened. We were assured they would fix it - it had been a month; they said they would fix it gratis because it had been so long, which is wonderful but now over 3 months has gone by. Though we were assured AGAIN last week that it would be fixed 10/15, it's not. I called - no response. It's very thoughtful to want to fix it free because we waited so long, but to leave our mom who has dementia without a chair is cruel. THE LATEST IS as of Nov 2, they still have not fixed the chair and now want to refund our money and "help you get a new chair at our cost". They were supposed to call and give us the new info. NO WORD.
