i bought a used car 2005 chevy malibu by the 12th day of having it I had to bring it to the shop, they told me the steering colum needed fixing. i was covered under warrity as of now but looked on line about this problem to find hundreds of cases with the same problem and also to find GM will not recall this very dangerous car, my study shows you can have it fix many times but it will fail again to to no upgrade in this part looks like the same part is in cars from 2005-2009 and no recall. I now have a car I don't feel safe to drive because I have even read of deaths do to losing conrol do to lock up in the steering wheel. i saw in the globe 2/25 that GM is up $4.7b why can't they use some money and recall this part? I'm looking for help and hoping it could save lives of people who have the malibu and other poeple on the road that it will keep safe that don't have one. please look on the web and see for yourself the stories its a sad case. thank you so much. my address and number is listed I have troble sometime with my e-mail
