1 800 NY CARPET Complaint

You were suppose to clean my rug NOT MAKE IT DISSAPEAR - Oriental Rug Cleaning

On January 28th I had my two area rugs picked up for cleaning and I wanted the fringes removed on my handmade 8x10 chinese rug. Two weeks later I was given a call that my rugs were ready for delivery. I spent the day home waiting and finally my rugs were delivered. They put down the first rug first and I noticed they had done a poor job. I had them put down the second rug to see if the fringes were removed professionally and to see how good it looked. This is when I was stunned! There were white knots sticking out throughout the rug as if it had caught the measles. The more I looked the more I saw white fibers coming up from the rug which had never existed before. I then saw a huge yellow stain on the rug which was not there before. While the delivery guys were here we called 1 800 NY CARPET, they denied any wrong doing. The owner/manager Moshe was extremely disrespectful and nasty and hung up on me. The delivery men called him back and told him the situation, that there were knots throughout the rug. He told them to wait there and that he would have the salesman who originally came to give me a price as well as pick up my rugs to come right over. Upon the sales rep's arrival I showed him all the knots that never existed on my rug. He told me he did not know how they got there but assured me that they would be removed and that the rug would be back to me within 2-3 days. It has been over 3 weeks and my rug is still not here. I was told the rug would be delivered to me on Friday February 29th. I asked at that time if the rug was inspected prior to delivery and both Tony and Marcus, service reps told me that the rug looked great. That the knots had been removed and the stain was completely gone. I was also told it would be delivered back to me between 11 AM and 1 PM. It never made it! Throughout the day I was told that they were at another job and would head over to me immidiately upon completion. Then I was told that they were caught in traffic. They I was told that the truck broke down and the rug had to be trasfered to another truck. ALL LIES! They had me sit home until 7 PM when they never had any intentions of delivering my rug. I kept calling NY CARPET only to be hung up on non stop. Moshe, the most disrespectful, lying character finally put me on hold and had a supposed conference call with the person in charge of my rug. The person was supposedly named Sima and she told him that the rug was still at the warehouse and had not been touched. My rug was never cleaned, the damage they made was never corrected and the rug had never been on the truck on the way to me at any time. ALL LIES. I am still waiting for my Handmade Chinese Rug that cost me over $1000.00. PLEASE HELP ME GET MY RUG BACK AND SHOW THIS DISGRACEFUL COMPANY THAT THEY CAN NOT TREAT CUSTOMERS WITH DISRESPECT AND DAMAGE THEIR PROPERTY AND THEN NOT GIVE IT BACK! It's been over 5 weeks for a job I was quoted as 3 days. 1 800 NY CARPET ARE SCAM ARTISTS, FROM MOSHE TO TONY TO MARCUS AND THE LYING RECEPTIONIS PRETENDING TO BE AN ANSWERING SERVICE.
