1800-dial-a-car Complaint

Car purchase deposit - car leasing/sales

- Feasterville, Pennsylvania
I went to look into a lease purchase from 1800-dial-a-car on Saturday November 10, 2007 for a 2000 Ford Explorer. Once I looked at the jeep and did a test drive, I decided to give the sales person James Armstrong a deposit to hold the jeep. On November 11, 2007 I called Mr. Armstrong to let him know that I was looking into another options to purchase a jeep. Mr. Armstrong said "no problem, I will mail you your check". On Tuesday November 13,2007 I noticed that Mr.Armstrong had cashed my $500.00 check for the deposit for the truck. I called him to ask him about this and he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about.

After contacting him again on Tuesday November 13, 2007 he tells me that he isn't going to return my check because I caused his small company to lose money changing my mind about purchasing the jeep Explorer. This is fraud and totally unacceptable.
