Within 8 months of purchasing a Paramount bed, my mattress had an indentation on the right side, making it visibly sloped even with be a comforter on it. I contacted the vender where I purchased it (The Dump, Atlanta), submitted documentation per their request, and was subsequently told that the manufacturer denied the claim to replace/or repair the mattress.
Incidentally, the mattress has a 20 year warranty. And I was told by both the vendor and the manufacturer that their policy is as such, if there is an indentation in excess of 1.5 inches, it is deemed defective. My mattress has an indentation of approximately 3 inches.
I contacted the manufacturer directly. And on approximately nine separate occasions spoke to someone. I also emailed multiple times and was directed to multiple people. The truth is that I was simply given the runaround with no resolution and no intent to resolve the issue.
I have been at home for the last year recovering from an illness and require that my bed does not make me sicker. It's simply dishonest for this manufacturer to ignore their warranty, that fact that I paid heftily for this bed and that it is defective.
I have been unsuccessful in resolving this issue on my own. Please help me get it done. I would really appreciate it.
